A redraw of an old piece from many moons ago, before 2020 at least. The original was named "protect", so I named the redrawn piece "overcome". I feel it communicates the idea of personal growth well. It's definitely nice for me to look at. I like it.
An art piece with decently documented progress images, and lots of color variation. It took a lot of fenagling to make the perspective work, but I think I managed to pull it off! Also used the mirror tool to keep things looking clean. The idea initially was playing with the concept of my character Sam having this vicious dog in her head as a sort of manifestation of her mind, and the way it both protects and torments her. I just like drawing dogs and the imagery and Sam is usually accompanied by the figure of a dog. There's an art piece I will list that has a good example of this phenomenon in action. Stay tuned!
